AMERICAN ALL-STAR LATE MODEL $2,5000-TO-WIN THIS SATURDAY AT MOUNTAIN VIEW RACEWAY


SPRING CITY, TN – The American All-Star Dirt Late Model Series presented by PPM will visit Mountain View Raceway this Saturday night for the $2,500-to-win Rocky Top Rumble 40. This special show will also feature the first points race of the 2021 season for the Mountain View Raceway Sportsman, Beginner Sportsman, B-Hobby, Thunder and Front-Wheel-Drive Divisions.


The American All-Star Dirt Late Model Series Rocky 40 will feature over 20 drivers from five different states battling it out on the ¼-mile high-banked clay oval for the $2,500 top prize and points towards the 2021 Championship.


Representing Tennessee from Knoxville are Zach Sise, Eli Beets, Josh Collins, Trevor Sise, and Hayden Cardwell, who warmed up for the race with a Sportsman win at Mountain View Raceway on March 20. Seymour, TN drivers entered include Rusty Ballanger, Terry Poore, and Bradley Lewelling.


Other Volunteer State drivers entered for the American All-Star Late Model Series Rocky Top Rumble 40 include defending Mountain View Raceway Late Model Champion Barry Goodman of Spring City, Brandon Miller of Maryville, Josh Baker of Morristown, William Blankenship of McMinnville, Jeff Jackson of Chattanooga, Cameron Weaver of Crossville.


Peach State drivers entered for the Rocky Top Rumble 40 include Ethan Hunter of Tiger, GA, Andrew Littleton of Chatsworth, GA, and Sylvan Schuette of Blairsville, GA. Other drivers from neighboring states are Logan Roberson of Dooms, VA, Tyler Arrington of Lebanon, VA, Jordan Hedger of Covington, KY, Oscar McCown of Whitesburg, KY, and Chris Chandler of Weaverville, NC.


On Saturday at Mountain View Raceway, the Pit Gate will open at 3 p.m. and Pre-Race Registration and Technical Inspection will be from 3 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Drivers Registering after 5:30 p.m. will get one lap of Qualifying or start on the tail of a Heat Race. The Grandstand Gate and Tier Parking will open at 4 p.m. The Drivers Meeting is scheduled for 5:45 p.m. and Hot Laps are set for 6 p.m.


Pit Passes are $30 for ages 12 and up, $20 for Children 6-11, and Children 5 and under are admitted Free. General Admission Grandstand and Tier Parking tickets are $15 for ages 12 and up, $8 for Children 6-11, and Children 5 and under are admitted Free.
