SPRING CITY, TN – The B-Hobby Division will race for $1,000-to-win this Saturday night in the 25-lap B-Hobby Bash at Mountain View Raceway. There will also be Regular Weekly Point Races for the Late Model, Sportsman, Open-Wheel Modified, Thunder, and Front-Wheel-Drive Divisions. The Sharps Mini Late Models will also be in action on the ¼-mile high-banked clay oval.
Brady Lee of Knoxville, TN is the B-Hobby Division point leader driving the Lee’s Mountain Retreat Camaro. Kenneth Daniels of Spring City, TN is second in the standings in the Daniels Racing Monte Carlo and Jim Gilbert of Rossville, GA is third in the Rat Rod Chevelle. Dylan Johnson of Dunlap, TN in the Dunlap Racing Camaro is fourth in the point standings.
Among the other top B-Hobby entrants expected for the non-points race include Jerry Spence of Spring City, TN, Matthew Crabtree of Athens, TN, Pete Wright of Wartburg, TN, Adrian Williams of Chattanooga, TN, Lloyd Singleton of Oliver Springs, TN, and Allen Singleton of Oliver Springs, TN.
On Saturday night, the Pit Gate opens at 3 p.m. and the Grandstand and Tier Parking Gates open at 4 p.m. The Mandatory Pre-Race Registration and Technical Inspection is scheduled from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. The Drivers Meeting is scheduled for 6:15 p.m. and Hot Laps will begin after the Drivers Meeting.
Pit Passes are $30 for Adults, and $15 for Children 6-11. The General Admission and Tier Parking ticket prices are $10 for race fans 12 and older, and Children 6-11 are $5. Children 5 and under are admitted Free in all areas, and all Children must be accompanied by an Adult.
