SPRING CITY, TN – Exciting racing action will surround a festive atmosphere for race fans of all ages this Saturday night at Mountain View Raceway. There will be points racing for six weekly Divisions, plus a special appearance by the Sharp Mini Late Models and the 4-Cylinders. It will also be Fan Appreciation Night with a $5 General Admission/Tier Parking ticket price.
While most of the action will be focused on the ¼-mile high-banked clay oval from the Late Models, Sportsman, Beginner Sportsman, B-Hobby, Thunder and Front-Wheel-Drive Divisions; racers and sponsors have teamed together to do something special for the kids in attendance this Saturday night at Mountain View Raceway.
Mountain View Raceway Kids Coordinator Jenny Davenport reports the first 100 kids 11 years of age and under through the gates this Saturday night will receive a free Hot Wheels car. The drivers will toss candy to the kids at intermission, and there will also be Kids Face Painting going on throughout the evening. The kidos can also climb into a Late Model simulator that will be on hand.
There will also be special prizes for Adults as well because racers and track sponsors have donated everything from free oil changes to free General Admission tickets to future racing shows at Mountain View Raceway to be given away by either trivia questions delivered by Track Announcer, “Mr. Trivia” Roby Helm, or via a driver Frisbee toss with a certificate taped to it.
