SPRING CITY, TN – The Feature Race Winners in the Late Model, Sportsman, Open-Wheel Modified, Thunder and Front-Wheel-Drive Divisions drew for the recipients of the Contingency Connection Special Awards based on finishing positions Saturday night at Mountain View Raceway.
Josh Collins of Knoxville, TN finished second in the 25-lap Late Model Feature Race driving the #144 Knoxville Diesel Rocket and won the Holley Performance $150 Product Award. Adam Bishop of Riceville, TN finished fifth in the 20-lap Sportsman Feature Race in the #90 Valley View Hose and Hydraulic Longhorn and won the Canton Racing Products $100 Product Certificate.
Matthew Hopper of Lancing, TN finished fifth in the 20-lap Open-Wheel Modified Feature Race driving the #92 Charlie Hopper Enterprises Trick Race Car and won the Mac’s Tie Downs $100 Gift Certificate. Scott Smith of Soddy Daisy, TN drove the #3w Crouse Automotive Monte Carlo to a fourth-place finish in the 15-lap Thunder Feature Race and won the Mahle Motorsports $200 Product Certificate.
Matthew Sullivan of Sparta, TN finished 14th in the 15-lap Front-Wheel-Drive A Feature Race in the #3 Sullivan Racing Chevrolet to win the G-Force Racing Gear $100 Helmet Discount Certificate. Henry Cligan of Dayton, TN drove the #02 Cligan Racing Special to a second-place finish in the 12-lap Front-Wheel-Drive B Feature Race to win the Auto Meter $100 Product Certificate.
Mountain View Raceway is one of 50 Contingency Connection selected race tracks and racing series, and the only track in East Tennessee, that represents many motorsports vendors offering contingency awards to drivers during the 2022 racing season. Mountain View Raceway, through the Contingency Connection Program, will award over $100,000 in Special and Racer Rewards.
