SPRING CITY, TN – Mountain View Raceway has released its 2022 Schedule of Events. The schedule features 27 events with six Special Events in four Divisions. The 2022 action on the ¼-mile high-banked clay oval begins with a pair of Open Practices. The first Practice Day will be on March 5 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., and the second will be on March 12 from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m.
The 2022 Weekly Divisions at Mountain View Raceway will be Late Model, Sportsman, Open-Wheel Modified, B-Hobby, Thunder, 4 Cylinder, and Front-Wheel-Drive. The B-Hobby and 4 Cylinder Divisions will alternate weeks.
The 4 Cylinders will compete under SM4MA Rules. Other Division Rules and Regular Weekly Payouts are posted on the Mountain View Raceway website at www.mountainviewraceway.com.
The 2022 Season Opener will be on Saturday night, March 26. The first points race for the Weekly Racing Divisions at Mountain View Raceway will be on Saturday night, April 2. The Pit Gate opens at 3 p.m., and the Grandstand/Tier Parking Gates open at 4 p.m. The Drivers Meeting is set for 6:45 p.m. with racing at 7 p.m.
The Late Model Division will participate in a pair of Special Events during the 2022 racing season at Mountain View Raceway. The first Late Model Special will be the $2,500-to-win Rocky Top Rumble on Saturday night, April 30. The second Late Model Special will be a $5,000-to-win race for the Valvoline Ironman Super Late Model Series on Saturday night, June 4.
The $2,000-to-win 2nd Annual Sam Williams Memorial Race for the Sportsman Division will roll off at Mountain View Raceway on Saturday night, July 2. The Open-Wheel Modified Division will have a pair of $1,200-to-win Special Races at Mountain View Raceway on June 11 and July 16. The Thunder Division will race for $1,000-to-win on August 6.
Other notable events on the 2022 Mountain View Raceway calendar include the Driver Appreciation Night on August 27, the 2nd Annual Fan Appreciation Night on September 10, and the 3rd Annual Pretty In Pink Brest Cancer Awareness Race with a Powder Puff Race on October 1.
The last Points Race of the 2022 season will be on October 15, and the 3rd Annual Trunk Or Treat Race will be on October 29. Mountain View Raceway officials will be adding additional Special Events as the 2022 season progresses.
