SPRING CITY, TN – The following is a Technical Bulletin with a Rules Clarification for the $2,000-to-win $100-to-start Mountain View Raceway King of the Crates this Saturday night, August 27 for Late Models powered by Chevrolet Performance 604 and 602 Circle Track Engines:
ENGINE RULES: Crate Racin’ USA Engine Rules and Sealing Requirements for Chevrolet Performance 604 and 602 Circle Track Engines
WEIGHT RULES: 604 – 2,350 pounds and 602 – 2,200 pounds
BODY AND SUSPENSION RULES: Topless Outlaw Late Model Series with the Mountain View Raceway Amendment that allows a 16” by 24” left side Spoiler Plate.
TIRE RULE: All four corners Hoosiers 1350 and 1600 (1600 must be shoulder plated), Hoosier Lm40 (legal), Crate 21 (legal), D55 -must be shoulder plated 1600. American Racer 48 and 56 (NO ART 56 Allowed). All numbers and names must remain on the tire (NO grinding off numbers and names). Tire samples may be taken at any time from any car. (If taken prize money will be held pending results)- If caught with chemicals in tires loss of pay for race and eligibility for points money.
