SMITH SWEEPS LATE MODEL LOOT AT MOUNTAIN VIEW RACEWAY

Tyler Norwood of Athens, TN started his racing career off on the right foot in the 15-lap Developmental Sportsman Main Event. In his first time behind the wheel of a race car, Norwood suffered through the usual growing pains of a driver in their first race. In the first eight laps of the race, Norwood hit the fence, he spun out, and went to the back of the pack for the restart. In the second half of the race, Norwood slowed down and went fast. The raw rookie came back through the field, took the lead and won his very first race driving the Stacey Suttles Trucking Mastersbilt. (Mountain View Raceway Media Photo by Young Gunz Photography)
