SPRING CITY, TN – Thunder will roll into the Fan Zone this Saturday night at Mountain View Raceway with Thunder competitors Casey Cash of Spring City, TN, along with Soddy Daisy, TN drivers Chris Williams and Scott Smith. They will Meet and Greet the race fans in the Fan Zone located in Victory Lane.
Along with the Fan Zone, the Valvoline Super Late Model Series will be in the house with a $5,000-to-win 40-lap Feature Race with the top Super Late Model drivers in the Southeast battling is out. There will also be six Mountain View Raceway Weekly Divisions in action with points-paying races.
The Mountain View Raceway Sportsman, Open-Wheel Modified, B-Hobby, Thunder, Front-Wheel-Drive and Junior Front-Wheel-Drive Divisions this Saturday night on the ¼-mile high-banked clay oval.
Right after Thunder Qualifying, Cash in the #8 Duncan Family Auto Camaro, Williams in the #104 Anneke Wilkey Monte Carlo, and Smith in the #3w Brannan Heating and Air Monte Carlo will make their way to the Mountain View Raceway Victory Lane and into the Fan Zone for the Meet and Greet. They will be bearing Autograph Cards and goodies for the kids.
This Saturday, the Pit Gate opens at 3 p.m. and the Grandstand and Tier Parking Gates open at 4 p.m. The Mandatory Pre-Race Registration and Technical Inspection will be from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. The Drivers Meeting is set for 6:15 p.m. and Hot Laps are scheduled for 6:45 p.m.
Pit Passes are $40 for Adults, $20 for Children 6-11, and Children 5 and under are admitted Free. The General Admission and Tier Parking ticket prices are $20 for race fans 12 and older, Children 6-11 are $10. and Children 5 and under are admitted Free. All Children must be accompanied by an Adult.
